Care Guide
Product Care
Proper cleaning and storage will extend the life of your products and keep them safe for use. Follow these guidelines based on your product's material.
Cleaning by Material
Silicone
Wash with warm water and mild, unscented soap before and after each use. Silicone is non-porous and can also be sanitized by boiling in water for 3–5 minutes (remove batteries or electronic components first). Allow to air dry completely before storage.
Borosilicate Glass
Clean with warm water and mild soap or a dedicated toy cleaner. Glass is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and can be sanitized with boiling water or a 10% bleach solution. Inspect for chips or cracks before each use — discard if damaged.
Stainless Steel
Wash with warm water and soap. Stainless steel is non-porous and can be sanitized by boiling or wiping with isopropyl alcohol. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots.
ABS Plastic
Clean with warm water and mild soap. ABS is body-safe and non-porous when sealed. Do not boil — use a toy cleaner or mild soap solution instead. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
TPE / TPR (Thermoplastic)
Wash with warm water and antibacterial soap before and after use. TPE is porous, so it cannot be fully sanitized — use with a condom for shared use. Do not boil. Replace if the material becomes sticky, discoloured, or develops an odour.
Leather & Textiles
Wipe leather items with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not submerge. For textile items such as lingerie, follow the care label — most should be hand washed in cool water and laid flat to dry.
Lubricant Compatibility
| Material | Water-Based Lube | Silicone-Based Lube | Oil-Based Lube |
|---|---|---|---|
| Silicone | Safe | Not recommended | Safe |
| Glass | Safe | Safe | Safe |
| Stainless Steel | Safe | Safe | Safe |
| ABS Plastic | Safe | Safe | Use caution |
| TPE / TPR | Safe | Not recommended | Not recommended |
| Latex (condoms) | Safe | Safe | Not safe |
When in doubt, water-based lubricant is the safest choice for all materials. Silicone-based lubricant can degrade silicone and TPE surfaces over time, causing them to become tacky or break down.
Storage Tips
- Store each product separately in a clean, lint-free pouch or bag to prevent material contact between items — especially silicone-on-silicone, which can bond or degrade.
- Keep products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Remove batteries from battery-operated toys when not in use to prevent corrosion and extend battery life.
- For rechargeable products, maintain a partial charge during long-term storage and recharge every 2–3 months to preserve battery health.
When to Replace
Replace a product if you notice any of the following:
- Visible cracks, chips, or tears in the material.
- Persistent discolouration, stickiness, or an unusual odour that does not resolve with cleaning.
- Reduced motor performance or inconsistent vibration patterns.
- The product no longer holds a charge or responds to controls reliably.
